Artists Pictures are Blurry After Latest Update Build 610

I am running Roon ROCK 1.7 Build 610 and Using Roon 1.7 Build 610 on my 2013 iMac as remote

Description Of Issue
After the update to 610, the Artist picture in the Artist view are blurry. It looks bad.

In addition to the PM, can you confirm if this also occurs on any other remote device? Do images in other places look okay?

it happens also on my PC.
Win10 PC with roon core installed (1.7 610).

not all pictures are blurry the same way… but i’m pretty sure this was not an issue in the past.
in the remote (a smartphone) the problem seems absent, even though the images are small, so it’s difficult to say…

Can you please open Windows Start menu and type in “System Information”.
Then, share a screenshot of System Summary and Components -> Display?

the “blurry” result in the artists list page is new.
on the other hand, i always had bad results in the “discover” page, even with hi-res images. i have some posts on this…

Are you using any special scaling options? I also notice that you have two graphics card, is the behavior the same when starting Roon on both?

I don’t know anything about scaling option.
I’ll try to check the behavior on the 2 graphic cards.

i post 2 screenshots: the first one is the a “discover page” [image] the second is the picture of bach in the composer page [image] as i think you can see, the picture in the discover view is of much lower quality. i’ve noticed this behavior in general, i think there’s some kind of problem here…

i’ve searched in some of my old posts, and found this:

so, this is a typical page in my composers library [image] -i understand that it’s impossible to find pictures of everyone… but please do something about the graphical layout. those grey boxes are simply… horrible. this is roon labs website: [image] no gray boxes, pictures, graphics. -in any case: artists picture compartment is … pretty poor. i’m trying to “populate” the artists section, but the composers/performers section is beyond my forces…

so, i can confirm now that the artists pictures are now blurry, and they were not in the past.
if i look at the same page (of the first screenshot in the post) now, i get:

and the same artists pictures are definitively blurry.

i’ve connected now the monitor to the second graphic card, and the result is the same, so that’s not the possible problem.

I also have blurry images on an iMac. They where crisp before but after the update they are blurry and unpleasant to watch, not so Roonish…

Also new images get blurry.

It has been almost two months now since I first reported this issue and there are not been and updates or fixes. Is something going to be done about this issue or are we stuck with it?
