Hi - Is anyone using both Audeze Presents and Opra filter for Audeze? Does having both kind of cancel each other out. What’s the general consensus here on which one to use. I have recently turned off upsampling to DSD256 and with that, only having the Audeze preset makes the sound exceptionally bright. Turning on the Opra filter makes it much more balanced imo.
The one issue I am facing with the Opra filter is that I can’t play DSD256 files anymore as it taxes my NUC i7.

(Here I am with a brain the size of a planet and they ask me to pick up a piece of paper. Call that job satisfaction? I don't.)

Both provide equalization curves for headphones, so you should use one or the other only.
In Muse, the preset is provided by Audeze, whereas Opra uses community generated convolution files often based on Harman target curves.
I used the Audeze presets for my LCD2 Classics before the Opra presets came out and found it to be too bright as well. Since the Opra presets were integrated into Muse I set my cans to Oratory 1990 I believe and it sounds much better to me. I haven’t changed the preset since. I am running the Fiio K15 as my DAC/Amp.
My listening chain is Rock(NUC) / Topping D90 / Drop+THX AAA 789 / LCD2(Closed).
Like Adam_Sloan I used the Audeze pre-sets but now use the Opra 1990 mostly.
I also did an on-line hearing test then created and uploaded my own Parametric EQ to assist my old ears and tailor a bit. I normally use the Opra and sometimes add the personalized Parametric.
