After installing build 2.48 the audio devices could not be found. The core is on a Mac mini. I checked that the network was not at fault by opening Apple Music on the machine and I could see all the devices on Airplay. I then restarted the machine and now it cannot find the Core, which is clearly on the machine. It was running perfectly before I updated.
Describe your network setup
Unifi. There are 4 devices 3 are on ethernet and 12 on Wifi
Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.
Thanks for giving that a try. Just to confirm here, everything was working as expected prior to the update and this is a recent issue? Or have you not used Roon in some time and are now trying to use it again? Can you access your RoonServer logs by using these instructions, upload the log set to the below link, and let us know once uploaded? Thanks!
This just happened to me. I have MacBook Pro restarted computer today and now my Sonos system is not detected. Even though on same network. My system setting > Privacy > Local Network allows Roon access. What should I do now? TIA!
I tried again this morning repeating exactly the procedure as before, after some time Roon found the core and everything is back to normal thank goodness. Thanks to Roon support for such fast responses.
Same problem here. Roon Server on my Mac Mini and no devices detected after update. I have Sonos devices, EverSolo streamer, all detected and well functioning before update. Please help
