None of the devices are showing. I have the following devices:
B&W Formation Speakers
B&W Formation Wedge
Lumn P10 streamer
EverSolo streamer
WiiM streamer
Marantz receiver
MacAir
Depending on the device, it is connected either by Ethernet or WiFi. All devices are connected to the Eero Mesh
Roon Server is running on my MacMini M4 Pro. It is connected via Ethernet. The WiFi is off. I tried to see if switching to WiFi would fix the issue, but it did not. Up until 7-10 days ago I did not have any issues.
All of the devices are missing entirely. The only Audio device that shows is the MacMini.
I do not see an option for multicast/IGMP/mDNS. Also, it appears all of my devices are on the same LAN/subnet, but I am not the most educated in this area.
Hi Benjamin, I followed your steps and it worked. However, when I went to restart all of the audio connections disappeared. This is not a viable, long term fix. What do you recommend?
Unfortunately, this is the only option for now. Our team is working on a long-term fix, and we’re also hopeful that Apple will address the issue on their end in the long term.
Thank you for requesting we revisit this case again. We understand you’re still experiencing limited connectivity or dropouts on your Roon Remotes and endpoints.
We noticed you have an Eero router setup listed in your topic description. It’s possible that the Eero has delegated some of your devices to a separate subnet or class-C block (which it will treat like a separate VLAN).
At your convenience, please try the steps in this article and let us know if it helps. We’ll watch for your response.
I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.
However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.
First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.
Hey Connor, The issue is ongoing. I haven’t had access to any of my audio zones for well over a week. The only time I can listen to my library using Roon is when I am in the car using ARC. None of the audio zones are available within my house.
Sorry to hear of the troubles. Have you tried to reboot your network setup yet? I would try this as a first step. Looking over the diagnostics gathered from your Roon Server, it appears you are getting “No route to host” errors, and something is preventing Roon from communicating with these devices. Are you using multiple networking interfaces on the Mac? Is the behavior the same if you disable all but one interface?
Hi, I have rebooted my network numerous times. I also tried switching off my wireless and connect directly to my network with a lan cable. Tried being on wireless and wired at the same time. Is this what you mean by using multiple networking interfaces?
Apologies for the long delay in following up. After reviewing your account admin, it looks like many audio devices have been recently active from your Roon Server.
Are you still having issues here? If so, please provide more information about which audio devices you’re having issues with currently.
Thanks for reaching out. My audio devices appeared again. Not sure if it was due to your latest release or because of IOS 26.3. I don’t plan to restart my Mac mini anytime soon as I am afraid I will lose the audio connections again. As of right now, things are good and this support ticket can be marked as complete.
