Describe the issue

Roon app on iOS doesn’t show most of my audio devices after update to build 1496. Nothing changed in my network configuration or setup, just was like that after the update. Consequently, cannot play music on my iPhone or other audio devices.

Describe your network setup

Hey @m.de.backer,

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the community! Sorry to hear about your audio device issues via your iPhone.

Do you see the same issue no matter the Roon remote device you’re using?

As an initial first step, can you please navigate to the macOS running Roon Server’s System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

We’ll be monitoring for your reply! :+1:

Hello,

Thanks for your reply!
In the meantime I luckily managed to solve the issue. Still don’t understand why the audio devices didn’t show up after the update, but I simply disconnected from my Roon Server on my Mac mini. I then chose “connect to a different server”, as i couldn’t select my existing server, and then was (also don’t understand why) automatically reconnected to my (existing) server, and it all worked again (all audio devices were there).

So, all works again - just don’t understand entirely why it happened and why I was reconnected even though I chose another option, but okay …
