Diagnostics show the ORA Zone refusing to play PCM at 16-bit, 44.1KHz because of unsupported format errors.
Can you please share a screenshot of the following?
- Signal Path in Roon for this Zone
- The Windows system settings for the Wasapi driver you’re using here
- The Device Setup page for the affected Zones in Roon
A few due diligence items:
- Disable all DSP for testing
- Verify that Exclusive Mode is toggled on in Device Setup for this Wasapi Zone
- Verify that Wasapi itself isn’t configured to only accept content at a particular bit depth and sample rate. Is Wasapi in Shared mode on this machine? Is there other software that is retaining control of Wasapi if not and restricting its input? Close any DAWs or other audio software and restart the machine.
