Audio Settings

Hi,
I have a question.
In Roon Settings/Audio all the audio sources that I have tried so far are saved.
Since I will not be using many of them anymore, is it possible to somehow remove/delete them from the Audio settings?
Thanks!

In settings audio, select the device and disable.

No. You can disable them but even then they need to be saved somewhere, because after all you might have to enable them in the future.

Just don’t go to Settings > Audio after everything is set up the way you need it now, there is no reason to go there.

Thanks, but I know that.
Disable does not delete/remove audio sources from that list (the ones I will never use again).

You can’t delete what is hardware, which is why the option is to disable.

If you removed them in Settings > Audio, they would still have to be available in another place, maybe Settings > Audio > Currently Removed, because you might want to get them back later after something changes. If not you, then someone else will. This place, where the disabled items remain accessible, is now Settings > Audio.

Just set them up and never go Settings > Audio again as long as there is no need to, problem solved.

As others say, you can remove from the active list but not from the wider list of all discovered end points.
