audio via node 130 visuals via chromecast

Hi,

I just bought a Node 130. I now want my roon not to play audio over chromecast but only the roon visuals. So keeping roon audio via Node 130 and the roon video/visuals using chromecast. How do I do this?

Go to Roon Settings → Audio and enable the Roon Ready audio device for the Node. Then, select this as the zone, to start playback. You can confirm the settings in the Signal Path.

If you’re using Chromecast to display lyrics etc. on a TV, this will continue to work, and is independent of the zone.

Thanks for this quick response. My issue is that i indeed see and play my roon on node 130. But i have no display of roon on my tv. I do have hdmi connected my tv with node. Tv output sound works too. Just don’t see roon visuals. Preferably I would like to see them without using chromecast but I have chromecast connected to my tv too.

Any thoughts?

Roon Ready streamers don’t send Roon graphics to screens over HDMI.

You can set up a Roon „now playing“ display over Chromecast to the TV,

Ah, I assumed you were using the TV with Chromecast, i.e., a Roon Display (as linked by @Suedkiez.)
