Audio zone drop out

I am continuously experiencing drop outs from the audio zone, which has slightly improved over the last weeks, but it keeps on happening. It takes around 5 seconds before I am able to reselect the audio zone and the music starts playing where is stopped.

Needless to say, this is quite annoying as it limits the fun to almost zero.

I am using an Apple Mac as Core, OS 13.1 2.5 Ghz quad core Intel Core i7 with 16 GB RAM.

There is no remote used yet. The endpoint is a Bluesound Node 2i BluOS 3.14.5

Not sure what you would need regarding the Network. I am using a quite new Router, from Swisscom Internet Box 2. All is connected on Wlan.

Is your core on the Mac also connected through wlan?
Core requires a direct cable connection to the router/Internet, because it is data intensive. I am not from support, you could try this, it might be helpful.

Obviously I did not notice Room demands a wired connection. I am used to a WLAN connection still using Audirvana in parallel.
I will try it.

As mentioned above, we definitely recommend an Ethernet connection whenever possible. If you’re able to give this a try let us know if it helps!
