Describe the issue

We cannot access our AudioLab Omnia streaming server with Roon, nor Qobuz. However, Spotify works correctly. Our Wifi network is based on an AT&T service with an Eero Wifi subnet. The Eero controller sees the Omni on its net. Our Roon server runs on my MacBook running the newest MacOS version Tahoe 26.0.1

But the Roon application not finding the AudioLab Omnia device on the local network.
We can see the device is connected to the Eero network, see its IP address and all but it is not displaying in the Audio setup within the Roon application. We find this puzzling because (as mentioned) other apps such as the Eero network manager and Spotify can see the device and play music to it. We have followed the step-by-step debugging guide that you provide on-line: resetting all the devices “PO/PO” procedures etc , however the problem remains. Under our system Network Security list of software allowed both Roon and Roon Server are enabled for communication with devices on our local network. Omnia is set for network input and displays “no input signal ” Please Help!

Describe your network setup

Our Wifi network is fiber optic on an AT&T internet service with an Eero model #J010001 Wifi mesh subnet.

Hi @rpeebles,

Thank you for reaching out.

Based on our internal device database, the Audiolab Omnia is Roon Tested only when connected via USB. This means it does not include a built-in RAAT endpoint and therefore cannot act as a network streaming endpoint for Roon over Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

To use the Omnia with Roon, you’ll need to connect it as a USB DAC to a Roon endpoint device such as:

  • Your Roon Server directly (if supported), or
  • A Roon Ready / Roon Bridge endpoint (e.g., Raspberry Pi with RoPieee, Lumin, WiiM Pro, Bluesound Node, etc.)

Hi @rpeebles,

Closing the loop here:

The Audiolab Omnia relies on DTS Play-Fi for network streaming; that’s a separate proprietary network ecosystem from Roon’s (RAAT), and they won’t be able to pair over the network directly.

Here’s a list of Roon’s supported protocols:

You can still use this device via USB-C or with an intermediate RoonBridge.
