Auralic Aries crashing with DSD256 from iPad remote

Hi,

When Core is controlled by iPad remote and playing DSD256 files through Auralic Aries, when selection of files or albums is made, the Aries occasionally crashes and completely disappears. It needs a restart to work again. This does not happen if controlled directly from the Core computer.

In Settings > About, are the Core and iPad running the same version?

That is correct. Both running v1.4 (build 294) stable, 64bit.
However, the core is on a windows server 2012r2.
