what are the recommended setting of auralic aries with roon? My auralic is running firmware 4.1. and is set in Lightning mode. I cant set it up as bit perfect inside Roon.
Mine was running 4.1 until recently and I had no problem running it bit perfect. I’ve updated to 5.3 (beta) so that I could use the Web interface for configuration, and also to get a more up-to-date Roon. Anyway, I had Roon delivering bit perfect PCM via the Aries with 4.1 firmware to my Schiit Yggdrasil DAC from last May until when I upgraded to 5.3 last month.
