Hello Roon devs (bye the way, I am a dev myself 
)
I started to use ARC offline on a one-month journey with my car around Europe, and in about a week, it started to ask me to log in again (offline mode was ON). But I am 9000 km from home, and Roon’s server at home is switched off intentionally to avoid fire hazards. So, all my efforts to create offline playlists from ripped CDs and use them without an internet connection abroad were busted. I stopped at a gasoline station and spent half the day on weak internet to download my playlist to Tidal directly. So here is a FIX request: increase login timeout on ARC, or, for me and many others, it is useless. I value the possibility of Roon making offline content on CarPlay and want to have as much Roon experience as possible at home and away.
One more thing to add: The Roon controller UI is amazing. It is very sad that ARC is so limited. It could connect to the Roon Labs server directly (not to my home, as it is not always on) to query metadata. Also, it could download it to the device DB (at least Android has Room).
My suggestion is to have ARC as close as possible to the controller or to have an offline mode in Roon Controller.
I know there is tremendous work to do (and already done), but there is space for OFFLINE MODE improvements.
