One of my favorite features of Roon is having multiple versions of the same album in my library whether from streaming or local sources. However, I often have to manually group them together. I think this should be happening automatically especially when the album title and artist are the exact same. Clearly the system knows they are the same album because “Group All” appears when going into the album page on one of the versions, but I would like for automatic grouping to occur.
Anyone have experience with this, or is this just not a feature? I will use Fifth Harmony - Better Together as an example.
They are essentially always autogrouped for me, except in rare cases when there are odd metadata problems (I suppose, as I have very few from streaming services were neither autogrouping nor manual grouping works), so I have no idea why it doesn’t work for you.
I suppose you have Settings > General > Show Hidden Tracks And Albums set to No?
