If it does, it will be reopened if there is something new to say. Roon has an internal ticket tracker and does’t rely on open forum threads. That’s why there is a ticket number in the topic title (ref#A95QJP in this case) when a case is opened here in Support. (And incidentally, this is one of the reason why cases should be opened through Support > Get Help, like this one was)
Roon not detecting speakers Formation Flex after firmware 2.10
Thank you for the update. Hopefully B&W will soon give us a (firmware) update too.
It’s disgraceful to me to see how they treat this obvious fault on their end.
So. Would you reckon seeking legal advice would now be opportuun?
If you have a lawyer at hand, asking doesn’t hurt (except perhaps your wallet), but I’d be surprised if they see chances.
Would it at all be possible to have some sort of explanation of what happened? Having some idea of what went wrong would help me sympathize with Bowers & Wilkins. We have been in this situation for just over two weeks now and I find it very silent from their end. Saying you are sorry for the inconvenience would not hurt that much? :-). It now feels a bit like: We messed up, deal with it!.
Still hoping for a good outcome of this ![]()
