B1174 Mac client wont update "There was an error checking for an update." [Solved]

Running Roon remote on Mac OS Ventura 13.0 / Macbook Air M1. Can’t update from build 1174 to 1180. Updating the Roon core on my Mac Mini running Monterey 12.3.1 with no issues what so ever. Is this a known issue? How to proceed?

Hi @ivan , thanks for your reply. I just uploaded the latest Roon_log.txt of my Roon remote.

Could you, please, do the following:

  1. Remove Roon.app from your Applications folder.
  2. Download the latest earlyaccess build – https://download.roonlabs.net/builds/earlyaccess/Roon.dmg
  3. Install it

The problem I am observing in the log you sent to me is a kind of an environmental problem. Let’s install manually this time and then see if this issue resurfaces during the next update.
