Windows 10 Pro PC speakers at the moment, but issue appears to be with the roon remote software regardless of OS (Windows on two different machines or Android via my phone)

Description of Issue

I can’t seem to find where artist info is in Roon. It used to be populated before so not sure if a recent update broke it. This missing artist info is not found no matter if I use my Android phone or my Windows 10 PC.

Artist info populates no problem in Roon ARC on my phone though. I also noticed the text is jumbled up with one artist in particular (screenshot below too).

Almost forgot to add, I did restart ROCK and have the same issue (running Version 2.0 (build 1177) earlyaccess).

I thought the “early access” tagged onto my noted version of Roon Core was an artifact of beta testing Roon ARC, but now see the latest public release is 1169. I’m going through COVID recovery at the moment so am a bit loopy at the moment! :crazy_face: Mods, please move this if needed. Sorry about that.

Running Version 2.0 (build 1179) earlyaccess

While we are working on a fix, it won’t get into the next production build. The fix is a bit more involved.

This feels like a performance issue, rather than a Wiki problem. What is the make/model of your wife’s phone?

She’s using a Samsung Galaxy S20.

Looks like artist info is back now with this latest update (1180 earlyaccess for the core and 1182 for the remote). :+1:
