I just tried to export a playlist from Roon (local and Qobuz tracks) and it did not work at all. There was a jellyfish for a several minutes, then I clicked somewhere else in Roon and it disappeared. No file was created. I exported the same playlist in the past and it worked
I just exported a playlist as CSV to Soundiz. Didn’t try Excel.
I just tried, CVS for Soundiiz works for me, Excel does not
I can confirm that Export to Excel is broken. Tried it from:
- Composer > Discography > Albums in Library
- Composer > View Albums in Library (from the “3 dots” menu on the Composer page)
Hi, @Suedkiez, @Geoff_Coupe, we are investigating this issue and a ticket has been submitted to the dev team’s queue.
Thanks!

I tried again in B1246 and Excel export of a playlist seems to work now. However, I am not quite sure what is expected to happen in your examples. It creates an Excel file, but it only contains the composer name, birthplace and similar bio info, but not e.g. the albums in the Library. Not sure if that’s how it should be
The content is dependent on where you do the Export from. I was using the Album Browser, and exporting from there; not from a Playlist.
Yes, but when you exported e.g. Composer > Discography > Albums in Library, did you expect something particular as the result in the Excel file, such as the albums in the library? Because that isn’t happening, although a file is now created
I was using the Album browser, not the Composer browser (and then Composer > Discography > Albums in Library) to generate a list of albums…
OK, I don’t know what you did. If you want to try if it has the result that you expect, then this can be marked as solved I guess, as playlists work now ![]()
