B1268 won't install on Windows 10 pc

Build 1268 has installed successfully on my Roon core. However, my Windows 10 control app update will not install - it remains on build 1254. Whenever I open the control app, I am informed that an update is available, but whenever I try to perform the update it downloads but fails to install.

That’s because you would have had to update from 1254 to 1257 manually still:

Thanks, @Mark_363. The problem is that you had to do #1254 → #1257 manually in order for the autoupdate procedure to work as expected in the future, unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvenience. – Ivan

From release notes of the B1257:

We are also continuing work on the Windows update issues and as with prior releases you will still need to install this update manually using the package downloaded from this link . Our current testing shows that this should be the last time that a manual install will be required.
