B1532: No database found

Running Roon Server on a Linux server. I’ve had two instances of the music stopping and the above error message. Both were resolved by rebooting the server. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don’t know this message, Are you sure it is not:

Note: A restart let you use Roon again if the DB is currupt but not too much until Roon encounters the corruption again (IIRC Roon Labs at some point spoke of "…for a day {24 hours} or a backup run?). This is no fix for the corruption.

Hi @BlackJack, good to see you.

I wasn’t familiar with it either, but it has cropped up in the past. See

I think it’s a separate error from the ‘issue loading’ error. That occurs on startup, whereas this occurs during play. It may have something to do with a loss of access to the database rather than corruption.

I’ve taken a backup of the database, and have a few before the most recent one just in case.

If I’m the Lone Ranger here then it’s probably some defect in my system. Suspicion is firmly centred on the extremely cheap 4TB SSD I bought off Ali Express about a year ago, but the database isn’t stored on that drive (just some of the music) and it seems ok. I’m yet to perform any system or drive integrity checks.

It hasn’t happened for the past three days, so maybe it was an errant cosmic ray … but twice?
