A positive note: Performance has improved massively for me in this build. Most notable improvements:

• No more slowing down within 24 hours
• Skipping tracks is now instantly instead of taking a couple of seconds
• Pages with albums now load instantly. I regularly got screens with gray ‘covers’, haven’t seen that since I updated to this build.

The 120 hz improvements for iPhone are there, but minor. Scrolling in the ‘tracks’ view is now very fluid. The album view is a bit better, but still choppy. This choppy scrolling seems to be mostly in views with albums. @Stephen

Overall this build is a massive improvement for me. Congrats!

We’ll need to ship another hotfix tomorrow to address a few regressions introduced in B1674. That said, the performance feedback is very encouraging, and I’m hopeful we’ll head into the weekend with no major leaks still outstanding

Wow, loving this. I’m not home to test until next week, but the cadence of work on long desired issues and infrastructure/performance is impressive.

It sure is. After years of issues, Roon finally seems te be shaping up to be a stable piece of software. Great work!

I cannot speak to improvements since Roon is hardly doing anything since B1764 was installed. Playing an album from the start, skipping on track forward, all good… As soon as you pick some track from the album particularly, instand freezing and not returning to normal until reboot.

Will this issue be addressed in your hot fix? If not, the software has been made completely useless for me, until this is solved.

Did you install yesterday’s 1765 where this should be fixed?

In this Early Access follow-up release, we’re focusing on resolving a critical issue where RoonServer could hang when starting playback of a track or a multipart composition. We encourage you to test this specific scenario and let us know if the fix holds up in your environment.

I actually had been looking for a hot fix several times in the past 24 hours and it did not show up until 10 minutes ago. I just installed it and everything is back to normal again. But I checked many times since the heart fix did not show up until 15 minutes ago.

The release note was posted yesterday (and updated later, 9 hours ago), not sure why you didn’t get the update, I got it right away.
