Not sure when this started but in some contexts I no longer see the library badge on albums, for example on the Artist Overview screen, My Library → Albums, Daily Picks. I can confirm that it is enabled. This is using two different Android devices.
Edit: Maybe it has gone from the first two because it is implied by the context? Doesn’t explain Daily Picks though. Personally I’d prefer it to be consistent.
There was never a Library badge in My Library → Albums, because it would be redundant as all albums that are visible there are by definition in the library. (I know because I asked this 6 years ago when I was new to Roon, and someone told me the same thing then).
I am not sure but doubt that the badge was in the artist Overview, because the artist Overview has a whole section called “Albums in my library”, where the library albums appear:
It’s certainly possible that Daily Picks never had them, and I agree that it should
Well, after 9 years using Roon, it has clearly taken me a little while to notice 
I was prompted by the Daily Picks section, so hopefully that at least can be fixed - I personally prefer consistency, but I appreciate there will be a range of views.
