B1695 Roon ARC and CarPlay iOS 27

When using Roon ARC via CarPlay in iOS 27, I noticed a few issues:

  1. The shuffle and repeat buttons are rendered very small. Could these be made larger again? Please see the attached photo.

  2. Above the “New Releases” and “Roon Playlists” sections, the header/title bar that allows you to click through to the full list is missing. Could this be fixed?

Additionally, perhaps CarPlay could be further developed, especially given the lack of a native Roon ARC Android Automotive app. A few suggestions:

  1. In native Android Automotive apps like Qobuz and Apple Music, it is possible to search using an on-screen keyboard. Would it be possible to add this to CarPlay as well? Right now, searching for a specific album is very difficult, and Siri doesn’t always recognize album titles accurately.

  2. Many artists are missing from the Artists page in CarPlay. The ones I listen to most frequently aren’t listed there.

  3. Would it be possible to display more album recommendations on the home screen?

Tried out the new version of ARC today in the car using CarPlay and it worked great! No crashes! Will keep kicking the tires but congrats so far as it seems much more stable…esp with a big library like mine…I had pretty much lost hope! So thanks for doing the ground up rewrite!
