B181 ARC battery drain on Android

Loving the new DSP features in B181 but my first impression is that I’m getting much worse battery drain than any previous ARC build I’ve used. Device is a Samsung S21 running Android 13. By way of example, 31 active minutes and 3hr 9 in background gave rise to 9.3% battery use - it seems that something may be causing a drain even when not playing music? Would be interested to hear if others are newly experiencing this on B180/181.

Will see how things unfold in the coming days.

It’s been a while since I’ve had this issue but a while back I found going into App Info and disabling background data helped me. Although in the end I chalked it up to an Android issue as my idle drain went away with a software update on my Pixel.
