Hi, @RBM, thank you for the report. Could you, please, provide more details about the source track and output device you are using (I see that it’s some bluetooth device but just want to be sure)?

Source track is from Qobuz (Olafur Arnalds – some kind of peace – piano reworks).

Device: iPhone 13 mini
OS: iOS 16.1.1
Headphones: Apple AirPods Max (via Bluetooth)

Previous steps in the signal path involve 96kHz > 48kHz. AFAICS everything is OK, except for the last step.

Update: I just restarted the album (same devices) and now the weird conversion step is gone. Weird.
