Description of Issue

Background analysis will stop after X number of tracks, where X is somewhere between 100-1000. Changing to off then back to ‘Fast (3 Cores)’ will get it going again. But then it stops and I have to change to off and back to X number of cores to get it started. Roon server doesn’t need to be reloaded.
It’s going to take forever to get through all my files.

I also have plex running on the same server. It had no issue going through all the files, so I don’t think it’s a file corruption issue.

Thanks

Interestingly if I stop adding files, the background analysis will continue for considerably longer. It’s now only stopped twice.

If you’re moving many files, it’s best to stop Roon and restart once file operations complete.

Also analysis is for volume leveling info and waveform. I always turn it off and set it to on demand.
