Backup Drive Incomplete - Missing Albums in Roon (ref#TQLU0X)

Description of Issue

After a defect of the external hard drive where all CD rips were stored (wrong data format, now changed to exFAT), the backup drive did not fully load all albums (200 LPs are not labeled - unknow artist).

Roon Server Specifications

Intel NUC system with sufficient power (RAM, CPU), 2 years old, 2TB external hard drive, 2TB backup hard drive. Macbook 2023 used to navigate the app

Connected Audio Devices

The NUC is connected to a DAC (TEAC) which then connects a Marantz (analog)

Home Network Details

The RoonServer (NUC) is connected via ethernet to the router (Fritzbox, glasvibre). Very high performance and no other internet issues outside of Roon

Does this issue occur outside of Roon? Let me know your current status, and if you were able to restore your Roon database from a recent backup.

Hi Benjamin,

no it did not occur outside of Roon. It seems the data is still on the drive but it can not be loaded correctly into roon. As you can see on the screenshot the tracks are not recognized / labeled, although I can playback them (inside and outside of roon, so the tracks are not damaged).

It seems that those unlabeled track were all albums including more than 1 CD (2,3 or 4 CDs). Do you have any ideas how to fix this?

Looking at the labelling of the ripped CDs in your screenshot, were these made using a CD drive attached to a Nucleus or a ROCK/NUC system?
