Not sure where to post. I was running everything just fine on my QNAP with SSD and caching, all hard wired in - finally it was all seeming to work and be stable (excluding radio drop outs which are probably more African internet).
Wonderfully I had 1 x drive failure and 1 x degraded drive at the same time (yeah bad luck) so backed up fully and then switched off QNAP - moving my core to my iMac (with no local content as all on NAS). Still all good, slightly limited collection (just running Tidal) but perfectly lovable. All backup and content likes and hearts in place and operating, just without any heart favourites for my local content,
Fast forward to getting the drives into Kenya and replaced in the QNAP - rebuild RAID etc and we’re good to move back over. I go back to an earlier backup and restore the QNAP - which it seems to do just fine…
…except one thing - ALL favourites have gone, artist favourites, album favourites, track favourites … all none existent. I click on the hearts and just get a blank screen,
I have since gone back and restored multiple times from multiple restores (going back a few months) and done restores on both QNAP and even back with an iMac core.
ALL favourites have gone
