Backup of my ROCK

Firstly hi this is my first post here! Apologies if this has been covered before but I am unable to see anything.

I have been using Roon for just over a year with my core running on a Windows box. Last week I decided to buy myself a NUC and installed Rock. I had not issues backing up my Windows db and restoring it onto the Rock. However I now seem to be unable to backup the Rock.

The log shows the following

06/20 09:40:50 Debug: [backup] uploading files. bytes transferred: 0/210882539 (0%)
06/20 09:40:51 Debug: [backup] uploading files. bytes transferred: 769/210882539 (0%)

The backup location is a network share (the same one the Windows one was backing up to) hosted on Linux and presented using Samba.

I am able to successfully backup to a USB stick on the NUC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Have you tried recreating the backup location in Roon since running on ROCK?

that log shows that your backup was going until 3% and then your network went down – nothing to do with backups.

Yup, but 100% of the time? Whether it is scheduled in the middle of the night or I run one adhoc. When it used to work 100% of the time when the core was running on Windows.

I can only comment on the logs shown… if you have different logs from another night, it’d be nice to see those.
