I have a few question regarding the database backup.
Is backup scheduling still using UTC? Or my local time?
Does backup work if computer is asleep through the night?
Also, backup warning icon disappears and doesn’t reappear again if retry is unsuccessful. My backup is set for every 2 days and I find it disturbing when I see the backup is behind 2 weeks with no additional warnings. How does one know if Roon is retrying a failed attempt?
Backups should be using local time, backups using UTC was a bug that was resolved.
No, your computer must be powered on and Roon has to be active for a backup to occur.
The dev team has just addressed an issue with backups retrying if they failed.
This fix will be published in an upcoming release once it has passed QA verification.
Thanks for the report, I can definitely ask QA to take a closer look at this behavior.
