If I have several versions of a track in my library and I only want 1 to play when I shuffle, do I just “ban this track” for the versions I don’t want to hear OR will banning it stop all tracks named “song” by “artist” be banned?
Hopefully it is option 1 so I can hide those lesser versions of the same track

It’s “option 1”, track level banning (or favoriting) only applies to that specific track.
@Lee_Lewell What @Carl said, but if you ever want to ban a whole composition then you can go to the composition and click Ban this Work, which should ban every recording of the composition, I think. (At least as far as it’s recognized as a recording of the work, which isn’t always the case)
