Ban/block seems to need an overhaul

From searching, for blocking certain artist on genres, it is apparent that a rethink on the process could be used. Yes I understand things are the way they used to be, for a reason. Streaming is here, and working with that should be a priority.

Some of us, are very opinionated about music. I personally do not want to hear any jazz. Zero, none. Every Friday, I listen to lots of the newly released music. With the Qobuz app, it is extremely easy to remove Jazz from the list. With Roon, I have to investigate each album, before listening or I have to find out the hard way, which makes listening an un-enjoyable experience.

We all spend time curating our library, and it seems a huge oversight to me, for things to function the way they currently do. We should have the ability to remove and genre, song, artist, or album, from our version of Roon. Don’t like Beyonce? One click, and she is gone forever, of course with the option to change your mind later. These are essential to creating not just our library, but also what we see, what we have to filter through, the whole experience of Roon, and how pleasant our listening experience is.

You can do the same in Roon via its Qobuz interface, same options for new releases as the Qobuz App. You can set you default options.

If your referring to New Releases for You then set it to relevance it should prioritse the styles you have in your librayr anf listen to. This is always a curated list so dont expect al releases, much like Qobuz new releases is also curated and doesnt show all.

Great, and I have zero excuse for not seeing that!
