Hi . Just wondering what is the best way to connect and setting up Mac mini M2 (as Roon server) and Eversolo Dac Z10 (there is no dedicated option for z8 or z10) currently Mac is connected by usb but maybe is better to use Node n130 ( still got one ) through coax as transport. Any recommendations much appreciated

I am assuming you are using it as a headphone amplifier in a desktop setup. You can certainly connect it using USB to the MAC, but, since there are no drivers for the Mac, not sure what resolutions you can expect to get. Just remember to set it to Core Audio to avoid the Mac’s internal audio processing which would ruin the whole point of the DAC.
As for the Node, Coax is limited to 24/192 and DSD 64.
What resolutions are you expecting to play, using it for more than just with Roon? All of these might alter suggestions. MacOS needs to use DOP to send DSD, which will limit you to at most DSD 256 via USB from the Mac.
Or you could get the T8 which is made to be the front end streamer component to the Z10 DAC and is also a Roon Endpoint and go ethernet to the T8 and then USB or i2s from the T8 to the Z10.
Does the Z10 display the album cover that is playing when connected via USB? I couldn’t find an answer to that on the internet.
