BETA Release 2026.04

Installation on RPI5 + Display2 went well.

One note: after the UI came up for the 1st time, and few seconds later, the unit went on its own, into one more reboot, then settled.

Thanks

Hi Harry,
Updated 5 RPI’s (3 * RPI3B+ with display 1, and 2* RPI4 without any display).
All went well, no problems encountered.
Kind regards, Frank.

In the last days, since the installation of the last Beta my RPI5 + Display2 crushed twice allready after long periods of play, followed by dark screen with red led on, requiring repeated manual disconnects and reconnects of the power until the UI apeared.

Sent log 68f317411ea34c80.

Thanks

This is an empty log, which is strange in itself.
Can you reboot and send me feedback directly?

Note: after 1st power disconnect and reconnect, the unit hanged with red led on. Only 2nd power restart worked

Thanks.

Same thing. I think something is corrupted.

How to resolve?

Hope new beta or stable will resolve the issues.

Thanks

Well, we don’t know what ‘the issues’ are: it seems that you have a corrupted SD, which only can be ‘resolved’ by reflashing. This is unrelated to the beta.

Should I wait for OTA for the next Beta or next Stable? or should I reflash the current March/February Stable version on my SD?

Which is more reliable.

Thanks

Your SD card is probably borked, so I would reflash. The fact that the feedback file is damaged points to that.
