Let’s start the weekend with a new beta build.
This has some more refinements on the convenience switching side, and on the HDMI side.
Most important thing there is that HDMI now works in combination with Roon.

Oh. One more thing: this release has a pretty extensive rewrite on how device selection for services other then Roon works. This means that you probably need to reconfigure those services.

Not. The beta releases follow a simple timestamp format that doesn’t suite RoPieee’s version scheme. However, I’ve synchronized the build numbers, so 3904 properly identifies this beta build.

i really appreciate your effort towards HDMI implementation.
I tried today your new Beta, i did not get any music through HDMI, but maybe its an Problem with the Pioneer VSA LX805. Until today i did not get any audio-only-source working with this receiver. Feedback: bb0adcc4078fe2ee
Ah. I already see what’s going on. You’re on a Pi 3, and over there this is slightly different…

Updated both of my pi3/4 to the latest Beta. It appears that Roon does not recognize the HDMI option at all. Switched the HDMI outputs on the P4, no change. Receiver Onkyo RZ730.
