I’ve just pushed out another beta with 1 topic: hopefully this fixes the ‘Roon and HMDI’ issue that people are running into. At least it works for me reliably. You need to (re)enable the audio device in Roon again.

Extremely limited testing so far (like only seconds worth) but HDMI to my Denon x4800h is working in Roon with both 44.1kHz and 48kHz.

Harry, thank you so much, one obstacle out of the way.
Works with an Onkyo RZ730 up to 192kHz 24 bit 2 channel.
It however down-mixes 5.1 to 2.0 with no option to change it in settings.
Any chance to get it working with multichannel?

Not for now. That’s for a another day.
It also requires me having a some sort of multi channel device to test with, which I don’t have.
I have an older NIB Onkyo NR 656 5.1 receiver sitting in the basement. If that is something you can work with, I will ship it to you.

i could also donate a Onkyo TX-NR609 or a Pioneer VSX-1020-K for some multichannel-HDMI testing

Thats ok, but it stays there, no “Playing now” display, nor clock, until i disable HDMI.
It seems librespot is not starting for HATs with this beta ? I did the Audio and Service configure, but no luck
