Hello and thank you very much for your answer. First of all, I would like to inform you that wether the latest update for Roon nor turning off the fire wall has not brought any positive change. Regarding my hardware, my NASS and 2 splitters are in another room (room No. 1) next to the music system in room No.2.

Before I changed the music files from flac to wav with Melco D 100-b cd drive I had no problem with the above hardware configuration.
The Melco D 100-b drive sends the new files in wav format directly to the hard disk of the Melco N1A/2EX-H60 . The problem started, after I copied the files from the Melco N1A/2EX-H60 to my NAS.
A new problem is, that I cannot find the ripped files in roon, which were stored in the hard disc of the Melco N1A/2EX-H60. When I make a new storage folder, Roon adds the folder to my NAS storage. When I choose browse I can see „N-1A2EX“. But I get the answer, that the folder is empty. When I store the Roon library in this new folder I can see it, but no music files appear.
When I use my windows computer with the explorer I can see all this files. Melco factory told me, that normally to attach the hard disk of Melco N1A/2EX-H60 over LAN, Roon, has to open a window to ask for a given name and password. But this does not happen when I try to open the new N-1A2EX folder.
