BlueOS 3.10 released 18/8/2020

WiFi with bluesound has been awful since I brought into the brand in 2016. Since 3.10, WiFi has been perfect. And I think they have more improvements for WiFi coming.

There might just been a little bug playing 24/192 and 24/96 files. 3.10.xx also created a new issue as my Players (2 Pulse Mini 2i and Pulse Flex 2i) have become incapable of playing high resolution (24/192) songs: whether grouped or not, they will play for 5 seconds, freeze for 2-3 seconds, resume playing for 5 seconds, freeze again etc. Each time you can see the blue progress bar stopping, going back a few notches and resuming. It’s as if the Players could not handle the amount of data and had to “buffer” every 5 seconds or so.

I’ve yet to test this myself. I’ll do that today.

Update:
I have tested both sample rates, and can report I’ve had no issues.

3.10.3 came out. Does anyone know what the below means exactly? I can toggle it on or off (I use an external dac with my node 2i.)

“* Audio Clock Trim adjustment toggle added to prevent audio dropouts when using an external DAC“
