To me Robert Johnson’s hands look like aracnodactyly (spider fingers) and some believe he suffered from that (Marfan’s Syndrome) genetic disorder, and while it has been claimed that he was poisoned by a male due jealous rivalry . Supposedly the death certificate lists syphyllis as the cause of death.
I saw him on his Strong Persuader tour. Great performance.

Palate cleanser? 
Picked up these very interesting treasure-hunt finds. The Bo Diddley is starting out fine. 
I also picked up this 2-CD crazy assembly of blues hits, “The Best Blues Album in the World . . . Ever!” The TiVo blues purists apparently object to the title. It’s a hodge-podge, I tell you! Oh well, I’m enjoying the hodge-podge! Track list from Dicscogs. For someone that will not be able to buy albums from all these folks, it’s a nice sampler/intro.
