Bluesound Node: Can I set Roon to see the Node as 96kHz max?

I’m about to replace my old Squeezebox Touch with a Bluesound Node. My Squeezebox is upstream from a Levinson 360S DAC. Both the DAC and the Squeezebox are limited to a sampling frequency of 96kHz. This has worked beautifully with Roon, which knows the limitations of the Squeezebox and will downsample any source with a higher sampling frequency to 96k. The Node, however, has a 192kHz limit. Roon is going to send the Node 192kHz signals, which my DAC won’t be able to process. At present this is not a serious problem, because my library contains only a couple of files sampled above 96kHz, but it would be better if I could tell Roon to treat the Node as a 96kHz device. Do you know if this is possible?

Absolutely.
When you first enable the node as an audio device you can go into it’s device settings and limit it right there to 96k.
