Describe the issue

Hi, I've been using Roon for the past few years. connecting to a Bluesound Node that is wired to a Mac Studio as the audio device. For no reason I can figure out, within the past week, the Node is no longer showing up. I've tried rebooting/renewing the Node etc. but no luck. However, the Node is still visible on my Network and the Spotify/Bluesound/DS Audio apps can all see and use it. I've not renewed my subscription unitil i can sort this out.

Describe your network setup

Mac Studio as Roon Core, wired to Bluesound Node X. RCA audio out to Denon AVR

Good day @Nick_Young !

I hope you’re doing well today.

Can you please clarify how your Node X is connected to mac ? Is it via HDMI ?

If so then you might really catch some connection issues because mac does not claim anywhere explicitly that it has support of eARC over HDMI.

As we can see Node X is Roon Ready and Roon Tested device.

Can you please connect it via ethernet cable to your Router and try to use it as Roon Ready device ?

Looking forward to your reply!

Regards.

Hi,

It’s been connected by Ethernet to my router for past 2 years. Just decided to stop showing up as an audio device. No luck with wifi either. Thanks.

Good day @Nick_Young !

Thanks for confirming.

In such a case can you please double check the settings of Node X and confirm whether it is in the same network as your server ?

We can see in your profile that you have your Mac and other Bluesound device in different subnets (different IPs).

Also, can you please share logs from Roon Server to our logs storage:

?

Thanks in advance!
