Hi @Nick ,

If you manually re-create this filter, does that work as expected, is it only the bookmark that is affected?

When I recreate the bookmark, it starts working. However, now I can’t delete anything shown in the new bookmark or the old one. For example, I just added a Tidal album, went to the new bookmark, clicked the album, and then on the album screen clicked remove:

After that error, clicking remove does nothing.

The issue might be related to having the same album in Listen Later. I’m not certain, but it seems that way.

Also, you can close my other ticket in favor of this one, if you want. They seem to be different sides of the same Roon bug.

I figured out part of the problem here. I use the “2.0” tag to filter out multichannel. However, I discovered that this does not work with some newer Tidal releases even though they are two channel. I removed the “2.0” tag from my bookmark and changed it to an inverted “5.1” tag and that works. Still have the issues of not being able to delete albums though…

Hey @Nick,

Great work on finding the tag issue here!

Can you refresh your Tidal cache and see if that helps:

  • Stop Roon Server from running in the Web UI
  • Find and open your RoonServer database
  • Navigate to RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon Server via the WebUI and verify if the issue still occurs

Should I also clear the contents of the RoonServer/Temp folder?

I’ll assume no and give it a try.

I think it improved things. Adding and removing albums seems to be fixed. I still see a small number of Tidal albums that I believe are two channel that are saying they are not:

Hi @Nick ,

Glad to hear there was an improvement after clearing that cache!

Hmm, it is strange indeed, I did try a few of these albums and they appear 2ch on my end as well. Is the behavior the same if you try to remove and re-add one of these albums? If you play them, the signal path shows as 2ch on your end, is that correct?

Using the first one (Goose, Everything Must Go) as an example:

Thanks for the screenshot @Nick -

What happens if you remove one of the issue albums and re-add it to your library?

No difference. Perhaps an issue with the Tidal data?

Hi @Nick,

We’ll need to take a closer look at this one - are you willing to provide a copy of your database for our QA team to reproduce this? If so, please navigate to your RoonServer’s Database Location, find the folder that says “RoonServer”, zip (compress) it and upload it here at your convenience: Database Collector

@connor Sorry, I missed this earlier. Would the log still be useful to you?
