I seem to have a problem with bookmarks. I search for ECM albums in Tidal using Manfred Eicher as a search term. I get the screen with all his productions (871 one of them and counting), click on Bookmarks, get “Add Bookmark” and then nothing. I cannot type anything in it and no bookmark appears to be created. What is wrong?
Try starting in the Albums Browser. Click Focus at the top of the screen and then scroll over to Production. From there, search for Manfred Eicher.
You can then Focus on Labels and find ECM.
When you have your results, try adding the bookmark.
Cheers, Greg
Hi Greg,
Thanks for the quick reply, but that is exactly what I did.
I think the issue is that you’re looking at the TIDAL content in the TIDAL service, not TIDAL albums that you have added to your own Library.
When you’re looking at TIDAL albums in the TIDAL service, it is indeed not possible to create a new Bookmark for that view. The best you can do is to create a Bookmark by searching for “Manfred Eicher”, and then choose the “Production” view and bookmark that. You’ll then have to scroll down to the TIDAL Production list to view the TIDAL content.
And it will be in date order - oldest first, which is a pain if you want the newer stuff.
Have a look at this post Suggestion for easier browsing. Although all it does is confirm what you’ve said Geoff
Thanks, that is better than nothing.
