Description of the issue

I’ve read a bunch of posts on box sets but nothing that’s been recent.
Hopefully there’s some updated info.

I have a Grateful Dead Box Set. Each Album in the Set is from a specific date.
Each show is 1 to 3 discs.

I’ve been able to create a box set with all the discs 1-80 listed, but obviously I can’t figure out which show is which.

I’d really like a way to list 1 album, open album (the box set) and select a show.

I have most and took a while to get them to show in Room as I wanted.

80 discs this is likely “30 Trips Around the Sun”

I have the Europe ‘72 boxset amongst others.

I need to seek this one out :grin:

Europe ‘72 I just did as separate albums.
I couldn’t figure out a good way to do box then, still can’t.

That would be counter intuitive of having albums.

This has been a regularly requested feature update for years. This is probably my number one priority for Roon improvement. Roon has acknowledged that many users have requested some action on this but nothing so far. I keep hoping they will do something about this because box sets have exploded in popularity over the last decade or so. My CD purchases are almost all box sets now. Please Roon folks, can you move this up the priority list?
