Just curious if someone has compared Roon through the Bridge and an external USB streamer? I am looking at getting a DS and not sure whether to pay the extra for the Bridge or just use my SOSE via USB and save (quite) a few bucks.

Personally I am using the DAC Jr and it’s great so far…as is the whole Roon experience.
I had been using an Auralic Aries (with a regen and Curious usb cables). Replaced it with the Bridge II and I’ve found the Bridge II to be a bit better sound wise than the Aries.
