Description Of Issue
A hard drive containing all the audio tracks is attached to the Bryston. The Roon server does not see the drive so can not add songs.

Hi Sol! Are you able to connect the HDD to your Mac to see if Roon can locate it\ then?

Yes. That works but the sound quality is terrible.
Have you selected the SAMBA server on the Bryson?
