Description of Issue

When playing DSD in native mode, if I play through track to end all is good. However, if I pause for more than a few seconds, or manually advance to further down the track, all I get is noise. If I then play a PCM track, just for a second, I can play a DSD file correctly again. This happens on DSD 64, 128 or 256.
If however, I switch to DSD over DOP…no such issue. I do notice that DSD over DOP is limited to DSD 128, it downsamples DSD 256. Is this just a limitation of DSD playback? Is it a Roon issue, or possibly one with Ropieeexl?

This is normal for DoP to Mytek.

Not a Roon issue.

Not a Ropieeexl issue.

This is normal. This is exactly why you need native DSD.

Yes I prefer to use native DSD. The issue is when I use native mode it get pure noise if I pause within a track or skip to next track or try to advance later in a track. That is, no problem if I play the track through to end, but if I pause for a few seconds, then all noise.
