I’ve been learning how to tag local copies of ‘Unidentified’ classical albums. In doing this, I’ve been adding and deleting the same four albums repeatedly as I figure out how to get the results I want with file tagging. My process has become:

  1. Edit a local copy of the album with dBpoweramp on my computer.
  2. Copy the album folder to the Nucleus+ internal storage.
  3. In Roon, set the genre to Classical
  4. Observe work, part, and personnel to see if I have the desired result
  5. If adjustments need to be made, delete the album from Roon.
  6. Delete the album folder on the Nucleus+ internal storage to remove left over files, for example cover.jpg
  7. In Roon, use Settings > Library > Clean up library
  8. Repeat the process until I get the results I want

Even on a freshly rebooted Nucleus+, it quickly slows down processing added albums if I delete a couple of albums and click the back arrow on step 5 above. On the other hand, if I click ‘Browse albums’ I don’t experience the same slowdown.
