I still have it too (case one from the previously linked thread) and the duplicates were all over the place, quite far away from each other in the list and quite many. On macOS, sorting was albums by play count and a filter was engaged. When scrolling the albums in this state, I got dizzy because I never knew where I was among the many duplicates, triplicates, etc.
