Build 1475 - Arc not showing on Android auto

On connection to my vans head unit Arc no longer shows up. I do have audio but not even a playing now screen shows.

Rebooted phone, checked for any Android related updates. Didn’t show before or after a phone firmware update.

I’m not familiar with Android Auto, but maybe go into the app on your phone and add the Roon ARC app back if it got deleted somehow. Or, maybe delete it, then add back.

Thanks Jim, looking at the Android Auto app was also one of the first steps I took. It’s missing from the list of apps for the AA launcher.

Nope, it’s as if Arc no longer supports Android Auto. Nothing I can do to add it back in.

Also to mention, I installed the 1475 APK from the link in the 1475 EA release thread from @vova so wasn’t me updating from 1474.

I also updated ARC to build 1475 via the apk in Vova’s link, but fortunately ARC with Android Auto is still visible and working

Just triple checking AA settings.

Arc isn’t listed.

Deleted app and lost all downloads obviously and reinstalled from the Google Play Store and now shows

And that on a regular basis basis was why I dropped ARC from my life.

None of my other playback solutions suffer this kind of EA (Early Alpha) issues at all and it was happening on production as well.

Hopefully in a couple more years it will be better supported and more reliable and I will come back into the fold.
